Lion Country Safari, located in Loxahatchee, Florida, was first opened 1967. It was the first drive through safari park in the country and introduced a new concept to animal lovers, "The Cageless Zoo." Safari Day Camp gives kids a new introduction to animals, hands on! Every week the kids have the opportunity to study different animals such as giraffes, alligators, and lions up close with the experts. Or they can take on the job of being the Hoofstock, primate, or nursery keeper for the day! In addition, every day the kids go swimming, do arts and crafts, and play games.
